How to use Yorimichi Closet
"I want an easy way to find clothes and accessories that really fit the avatar I own" — that is what this site is for. Nothing complicated is required. If you are new, read from the top; if you already use the site, jump to whatever interests you.
What you can do here
Find
Out of all the VRChat items on BOOTH, narrow down to only the ones that fit your avatar.
Save
Save the items you like to your closet. Revisit your combinations for each avatar any time.
Connect
Post your outfits with photos, or give a like to someone else's. Just browsing is fun too.
Getting started: four basic steps
You can search for items without signing in. Sign in with Discord, Google or X to unlock everything else, such as saving and posting.
The movie plays automatically. Screens are illustrations; item names and prices are samples.

Pick or register an avatar
Use "Avatars" in the menu above to find an avatar you own (or are interested in). Press the box icon (add to owned list) on the avatar page, and the home page will start showing recommendations picked for you.

Find compatible items
Open an avatar page and you will see a list of outfits, accessories and more that fit that avatar. Marks such as "Verified" (Reading the compatibility marks) tell you how safe a choice is. You can also filter by category (outfit, hair, accessories …), price and whether the item is on sale.

Organise your closet
Items you like can be saved to your closet. Because you can group outfits and accessories per avatar, you can always look back at "this combination goes with this avatar". Closets can also be published for others to see.

Enjoy everyone's outfits
The Outfits page shows coordinations posted by other users, with photos. Give a like to the ones you enjoy, or post your own (posting requires signing in).
Reading the compatibility marks
Items carry a mark showing how directly they can be worn. It is based on the shop's own compatibility notes plus fit reports from people who actually tried the item.
Items confirmed to work as-is (drop-in). When in doubt, picking an item with this mark is the safe choice.
Items reported to work with a dressing tool such as Kisetene or Modular Avatar. Fine if you are comfortable with those tools.
Items reported to work after a little work, such as adjusting size or bones. For those who want to try editing.
An item without a mark may simply not have any fit reports yet. If you try one, sending a fit report from the item page helps the next person who looks for it.
Search tips
Just search with whatever words come to mind
Hiragana, katakana, kanji or English — the search handles different spellings automatically. Type in English and it is translated to Japanese automatically, so searches like "dress" or "fluffy ears" work too.
Narrow things down with filters
The item list can be filtered by category (outfit, hair, accessories …), on sale, price range, MA support (Modular Avatar) and Quest support. You can also sort by popularity, newest, discount rate, trending and more.
Starting from an avatar page is the shortcut
Rather than searching all items, opening the avatar page first is easier because the list is already limited to compatible items. Avatars that share the same base body can even show their compatible items together.

Going further
Once you are comfortable with the basics, try these. All of them are free once you sign in.
Favorites and sale alerts
Add a favorite (heart) to items and avatars you care about and we will notify you when they go on sale. For "I want it, but not right now" items, adding a heart is the way to go.
Wishlist
Collect the things you want "some day" on a wishlist and publish it. Quietly sharing the link with friends before a birthday works nicely too.
Contribute with fit reports
After actually wearing an item, you can send a fit report from the item page saying things like "worked as-is" or "needed a tool". The more reports come in, the more accurate the compatibility marks become for everyone.
Outfit posts and remixes
Post your own coordination with photos and link the items you used. There is also a remix feature that lets you build on someone else's post with your own twist, so inspiration keeps flowing. When an Outfit contest is running, you can enter with a post that matches the theme.
Following and achievement badges
Follow users whose taste matches yours to keep up with what they do. Filling out your closet and posting regularly also earns you achievement badges, which appear on your profile.
Help build the data
If an item is missing, you can request it from "Submit an item" on the avatar page. The Avatar Group Completion Project is also open to anyone who wants to help organise groups of related avatars such as colour variants and series.
